glossy ceramic tiles

Here at Country Floors, we’ll seemingly never tire of telling you about the almost endless benefits that can come from using ceramic tiling in your home. Ceramic tiles are some of the most widely used and popular when it comes to natural stone tiling collections. It’s no surprise that they’ve had a hold on the market for quite so long when you consider the myriad of benefits that tiles made from ceramic bring.

Ceramic tiles are some of the most hygienic tiling options out there, not only due to the fact that they don’t stain or facilitate the development of bacteria, but they also require minimal work to keep them looking perfect – ceramic tiles are easy to disinfect and therefore the perfect bathroom tiles. Since ceramic does not deteriorate and is waterproof and non-absorbent, tiles made from ceramic resist damage from most common chemicals. The material is perfect for holding the printed topography tribute that these particular ceramic pattern tiles boast, and you won’t have to worry about imperfections above those that are superbly natural.

Meet Your Designer

Specializing in the creation of original and unique tile designs since the early 1990s, and setting up her studio in 1998 to do just that, Erin Adams has produced countless tiling collections for some of the most revered tile specialists like Country Floors.

Erin Adams

Her range of fans includes private clients too, such as fashion designer Cynthia Steffe, for whom Erin designed and made a one-of-a-kind and utterly irreplaceable mosaic tile rug. It seems everyone loved her tiling innovation, combined with a gorgeous and admirable command over patterned tile, so much so that she began receiving commissions from all over the USA.

We are so honored to be able to introduce Erin’s exclusive collaboration with Country Floors, in which you will find some wonderful designs akin to the marbleization technique that can be traced back to 12th century Japan. Her awe-inspiring swirls have each been influenced by the wonder of the natural world, and the inherent beauty of nature and our surroundings in general. The patterning of these ceramic wall tiles is perfect for decorative placements in high traffic areas of the home, or they can certainly hold their own in whole wall tile installations in both bathrooms and entryways.

Below you can find out more about the individual designs available in the Salaterra patterned tiles collection, and learn what specifically from nature-inspired each tile design.

A Closer Look at The Salaterra Ceramic Tile Collection

The standard shape from the Salaterra collection is one of a small rectangular tile, however, we do offer another hexagonal tile option which is well worth checking out. *Right now the entire collection is subject to 30% off, so make sure you take advantage of lowered prices while they’re still available.

Saturn – Inspired by Saturn’s icy rings, a pale yet stoic grey and hints of pastel green dominate this particular tile. The swirls are bolder than others in the collection, almost creating geometry within themselves, and painted with what was seemingly a heavier, yet just as masterful, hand. This cool tone wall tile is the perfect choice when paired with dark woods, forest greens, metals, and natural elements.

Haku – Meaning soul, and inspired by a Japanese mountainscape, the Haku bespoke patterned tile evokes images of shodō gracefully created by artisans and masters of the craft. Its inherently monochromatic nature creates a sense of stature only rivaled by the relaxation and tranquility offered by the sweeping curves and brush strokes on the glossy tile surface.

Sedona – Perhaps you may have been able to guess from the outstanding gold curls that snake through this particular design, that this marbled tile was inspired by an Arizona desert scene. The combination of whites, delicately dark and warm neutrals barely visible at first glance, and a searing sunny gold, mean the Sedona pattern ceramic tiles hold the gaze effortlessly.

Hexagonal – Perhaps more so than any other collection before it to be welcomed by Country Floors, the Salaterra collection of ceramic tile, and its swirlingly slick patterns, work beautifully when compared with more unconventional tile shapes. The hexagonal tiling available in this collection adds another dimension of originality and intensity.
